About the  netLounge-DV

This site takes a closer look at this thing called 'digital revolution': it's about the future of independent filmmaking, and about a new format. How does digital video change the ways of filmic expression and narration? What effects does it have on the traditional filmworld in terms of aesthetics, production, distribution?

You'll find additional information on the films in the Forum-program that were shot on DV -- they illustrate what you can do with digital video today. Filmmakers explain why they chose to shoot on DV, and about the advantages as well as difficulties that came with it.
